Removal of the front grille for cleaning:<\/p>\n

Unplug the fan before cleaning.<\/p>\n

Lay the gently face down on a flat sturdy surface.<\/p>\n

Locate the screws found on the back grille of the fan.<\/p>\n

Using a Phillips Head screwdriver, loosen each screw by unscrewing each head to the left.<\/p>\n

Once all screws have been loosened, slowly lift the fan into an upright position using the back carrying handle. Do not lift up to quickly as screws may fall out.<\/p>\n

Separate the front grille along the seam where the screws were located.<\/p>\n

Use a damp cloth to wipe the fan grilles and blade.<\/p>\n

To reassemble the fan, collect all of the screws and lay the fan on its back.<\/p>\n

Place the front grille onto the unit, lining up the notch in the grille, with the notch along the bottom of the fan.<\/p>\n

Once the grille is aligned with the body of the fan, and each screw hole matches up, flip the unit to lay it face down on a flat surface.<\/p>\n

Insert each screw into a hole and gently tighten each screw. Ensure that the front grille and the bottom of the fan are tightly secured together.<\/p>\n

Locate and mark the position on the wall where the fan will be mounted (preferably at a wall stud).<\/p>\n

Insert two screws into the wall stud. (Screws are not included and can be purchased at a hardware store).<\/p>\n

Use #8, 1\u02dd length screws, leave 3\/8\u02dd below screw head (bolt) exposed from the wall.<\/p>\n

Line up the openings on the base of the fan with the screws (bolts) and hang the fan on the wall.<\/p>\n

Recommended mounting hardware not included \u2013 #6-8 x 1\u201d Anchor, #8- 1-\u00bc\u201d Screw<\/p>\n

Using the Wall Mounting Template choose the location for your fan (preferably at a wall stud).<\/p>\n

Insert 4 anchor & screws using the template as a guide, DO NOT insert the screws all the way, leave approximately 3\/8\u201d space between the screw head and the wall.<\/p>\n

Align the holes in the bottom of the fan base with the screws, carefully place the fan on the screws. Use ONLY the recommended screws for mounting.<\/p>\n
